Please ring 9311 0208 for an appointment. We try our best to accommodate your preferred time. Urgent drop in clients are assessed and seen by an available doctor. A wait may incur.

 Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your doctor has been called away. Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our receptionists if you require some extra time. If you or family members require an interpreter service, we can organise this for you, please let us know when you make the appointment.

After hours arrangements:

Please call 13 74 25 for our emergency service when the practice is closed. A fee may be applied for this service.

 Home visits:

Home visits are available for regular patients whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. Please ring as soon as after 8am.A fee may be applied for this service.

 Telephone access:

You can contact your doctors during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient, the reception staff will take a message and advise you when it is likely that the doctor will return your call. The doctors will always answer your calls in any emergency.

 Results:

Our receptionists will not give out resultsover the phone as it is beyond their professional duties. This is to ensure proper management, and to avoid confusion and medico-legal problems.

 Recall:

Please notify our doctors if you do not wish to be on our recall system for health checks. Recall is part of our high standard of medical care

 Reminder System:

Our practice is committed to preventive care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system, please let us know at reception.

  

Services available:

Home visits, check-ups, family planning, pap smears, pregnancy tests, ECG: heart check, counselling, vaccination: children and travel, minor surgery: stitching cuts, removal of moles and sunspots, liquid nitrogen freezing therapy for sun spots and warts, nutritional advice, industrial medical advice and consultation, sports medicine, skin checks.

 Fees and billing arrangements:

The doctors at this practice charge private patients and bulk bill children under 16, healthcare card holders and pensioners. Veterans may sign the service voucher. Work cover and private fees apply for other services unrelated to Medicare.

 Management of your personal Health Information:

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff.

 Your rights:

If you have a problem, we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or use our suggestion box. We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. However, if you wish to take the matter further and feel that you need to discuss the matter outside of the surgery, Health complaints commissioner Call 1300 582 113 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
